Fueling Passion, Power and Performance on 24-03-2025

The Department of Physical Education at Sri Sairam Engineering College successfully hosted Sports Day 2025 on Monday, 24th March 2025, celebrating the spirit of athleticism and teamwork.

The event was presided over by Dr. Sai Prakash Leo Muthu, Chairman & CEO of Sairam Institutions, whose inspiring presence added grandeur to the occasion.

The inauguration ceremony at the Athlete Ground was graced by Mr. P. Elanchezhian, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Manimangalam Range, Tambaram Police Commissionerate.

The valedictory ceremony, conducted at the Sigma Auditorium, featured Ms. M. Sowmya, Inspector, Income Tax Department, Tamil Nadu & Puducherry region, and Indian Athlete, alongside Ms. P. Anushiya Priyadarshini, International Taekwondo Player, as the esteemed Chief Guests.

The day was filled with thrilling competitions, showcasing the dedication and determination of the participants. The event concluded on a high note, celebrating the athletes’ outstanding performances and sportsmanship.
